How to Prepare for your Upcoming Installation Appointment
Once you have made the down payment for your order and scheduled your confirmed installation appointment with us, please make sure you have completed the tasks below to help ensure a pleasant and timely installation.
- Adults 18 years of age or older with decision-making capabilities MUST be present at the time of the appointment. We have paperwork that we go over after the installation is completed and we will need you, the customer or a representative, to sign.
- Make sure there is a clear walkway to the work areas. Any rugs/textiles will need to be removed prior to install. Irving Counter Top will NOT be responsible for any damaged/dirtied non-permanent flooring/textiles and they can pose a trip hazard to our installation crew.
- Clear off the tops of all counter surfaces. Any items/appliances that were specifically discussed during the measure appointment that will need to be removed for the install MUST be removed prior to your appointment.
(This can include trim pieces, ventahoods, microwaves, appliance garage/cabinet, etc. Some of these will only apply if we are installing full height splashes, as well.)
- Clear out all base cabinets (the cabinets underneath the countertop). Irving Counter will NOT be responsible for any damaged/dirtied items left in drawers/cabinets during the installation.
